The mission of VETS – Beyond The Uniform is based on four main objectives: 1) reducing veteran unemployment & underemployment, 2) reducing the high numbers of veteran suicides, 3) supporting military spouses in their career pursuits, and 4) mentoring employers in the creation of veteran-friendly organizations.
Our program addresses these issues by equipping veterans with the essential skills required in today's job market. It also focuses on bridging the gap between military and corporate cultures, while helping veterans overcome any challenges or cultural differences they may face.
In addition to supporting veterans, our program offers coaching and mentoring services to military spouses who have sacrificed their personal careers in order to follow their spouse from various duty station.
The program offers various No-Cost services such as assessments, coaching, mentoring, and workshops to help veterans and military spouses acquire the necessary skills and certifications to succeed in civilian careers whether it be as employees, employers, or entrepreneurs.
VETS - Beyond The Uniform is committed to upholding its core values in all aspects of its business and operations, with a focus on supporting veterans and military spouses.
