Operation Hand Up (OHU)

This workshop is based on the award-winning Operation Hand Up System created and taught by the author of Employment after DEPLOYMENT, which has enabled hundreds of veterans to start successful new careers in the private sector. 

The modern "Job Market Ecosystem" is based on connections, not job boards or high-priced resumes. In this workshop  will teach you how to analyze job descriptions and postings to tailor your value to the employers' needs and how to translate your military skills and experience into civilian terminology - the "connect-the-dots" between your capabilities and the targeted job. 

Once you have done this you can apply the three Laws of Networking that most people ignore, putting you in the upper 5% of job seekers where your chances are 20-50% vs less than 1% through online applications.

• How to build your network with LinkedIn and other tools
• Create talking points and stories to showcase what you can do for employers!
